The Evolution of Teak 123 and PT Gading Dampar Kencana
Established in 1992, PT Gading Dampar Kencana (GDK), better known as TeAK 123, has been a pioneer in the Indonesian furniture industry. Under the leadership of Frans S. Pekasa, our company has navigated through various phases of growth and transformation, continually expanding our reach to Europe, America, and Asia.
Originally focused on rattan furniture, GDK adapted to market changes by shifting our emphasis to high-quality wooden garden and outdoor furniture. With four factories in Jepara—two owned and two leased—we have significantly scaled our operations. Today, we proudly export three containers per month to China alone, a remarkable increase from our initial three-monthly containers, marking a six-fold growth from the previous year.
